Channel 4 & 4seven: Schedule Status & Listings  30th October to 17th November 2023

SEASON RIGHTS: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31 LISTINGS SOURCE: Channel4.com, Digiguide Channel 4 have moved their longstanding weekday 6pm slot to 6:30pm. They continue to air a variety of different seasons in that slot, and we get a few Treehouse of Horror episodes around Halloween. There are a couple of nights with no episode (Thu 2nd, Fri 3rd), due to special events Channel 4 are broadcasting those evenings. It's all change from Monday 6th, though, as they begin the terrestrial premiere of season 31, in their regular 6:30pm weekday slot. Woo-hoo! I recommend perusing Christopher Wickham's assessment of what they might see fit to cut from the run - although surprisingly, "Treehouse of Horror XXX" does look to be on the schedule (for now). On weekend mornings and lunchtimes on C4, we mostly get season 5, and sometimes, repeats of episodes broadcast the prior week - see the full schedules below for details. Nothing over on 4seven at the moment. Episodes starting between midnight and 5:30am are listed as part of the previous day's schedule, similar to most print TV guides. Note that all episodes that air on Channel 4 are simulcast on Channel 4 HD and can be viewed one hour later on their timeshift service, Channel 4 +1.

RTÉ2: Schedule Status & Listings  30th October to 17th November 2023

SEASON RIGHTS: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31 LISTINGS SOURCE: RadioTimes.com, Digiguide RTÉ2 are currently airing season 19, returning to terrestrial after a while away, in the usual 4:30pm weekday slot. Season 24 follows. There are occasional variations. The more exciting news is that the Irish terrestrial premiere of season 31 begins on Friday 10th, at 6pm. However, it appears to be running weekly in that slot only, for now, while the daily 4:30pm slot is occupied by repeats.. As usual, some episodes are skipped due to content concerns (or other reasons) - and there's nothing special for Halloween.

Sky Showcase: Schedule Status & Complete Listings  30th October to 17th November 2023

SEASON RIGHTS: 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 32, 33, 34, 35 LISTINGS SOURCE: Digiguide Sky Showcase can't seem to commit to a regular weekday schedule right now! Following C4's changes, we are currently getting an episode at 5:30pm, then two more from 7pm to 8pm - their third variation in as many months. But it's all change again from Monday 13th - it's then five episodes a weeknight, from 5pm to 6:30pm and then 7pm to 8pm - you can fill in that gap with an episode on C4, or stay with Sky Showcase for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and relive your youth.. Weekends are a little less predictable, but we usually get a decent number of episodes - usually between two and eight a day, spread across the morning, afternoon and evening - although a couple of upcoming Saturdays have none at all, due to sports coverage. Currently airing: Sky are in full-on Halloween mode, with Treehouse of Horror episodes lining the schedule, including a final (for now) repeat of the recently-premiered Treehouse of Horror XXXIII on Halloween itself. Following that, from November 1st, it's season 21, and then season 27 in two concurrent runs - one on weekday evenings, one on weekends and an early weekday slot (5:30pm). There's also a few bonuses from season 7 on Saturday 11th. No word yet on season 35, which has kicked off in the US - presumably we're looking at the traditional Christmastime premiere here. As always, some episodes deemed unsuitable for daytime broadcast are skipped, and some episodes don't get a second run depending on Sky's weekend schedule.
